Request an Envelope Refund

If your envelopes don't print correctly and you cannot reprint, you can request a refund. USPS does not provide electronic refunds for non-trackable postage, which includes postage printed directly on envelopes. You must mail in your request for a refund.

There are three parts to requesting a refund:

  1. Select the envelope print or prints that need refunding in the app

  2. Print the prefilled refund request form

  3. Send in the form along with the misprinted postage

Before printing postage on an envelope, we recommend printing a sample to ensure your print settings are correct and the envelope is loaded properly.

Forms to Mail

You are ready to gather your forms to mail.

  1. Sign the prefilled request form and enclose the following depending on your misprint:

    • Misprint on the envelope: Include your signed form and the envelope with the error.

    • No postage printed: Include only your signed request form. USPS handles these requests on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Mail your misprinted envelope and forms within 60 days of the postage print date to:

    Attn: Misprint Refunds

    PO Box 6026

    Inglewood, CA 90312-6026

Your refund request will be submitted to the U.S. Postal Service® for approval once we receive the items above. You will receive an email notification when the USPS has processed your request. Your refund will be deposited into your account.
