Understanding how seats are billed can help you manage costs as your team changes.
-
Additional seats are billed monthly per seat.
-
Seats are billed whether they are assigned to a user.
Charges are prorated based on the number of days remaining in your billing cycle.
Upgrading your plan:
Included seats in a new plan may replace paid seats, which can reduce additional seat charges.
Downgrading your plan:
When you downgrade your plan, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You’ll continue to have access to your current plan features until that time.
When downgrading:
-
Your current user seats will carry over when you downgrade.
-
You will only be prompted to adjust your seat count if you choose to reduce the number of seats during the downgrade.
-
If you keep your existing seats, the updated monthly cost will be reflected in the plan summary.
-
Any features, limits, or included usage associated with your current plan will update once the downgrade takes effect.
