Double Printing on Envelopes

The Issue

Your printer is printing double or ghost images when printing postage onto envelopes in the Stamps.com PC software.

What to Do

Here are a few things that can help resolve this issue:

  • Set your printer preferences to print at the lowest possible quality. Then, attempt to print your envelope again.

  • If the problem persists, set your printer preferences to print at the highest possible quality. Then, attempt to print your envelope again.

  • Your printer’s driver may be damaged. Try removing and reinstalling your printer driver.

  • The Stamps.com software may be corrupt or damaged. Repair the Stamps.com software.
