DYMO Printer Troubleshooting

Follow the steps in the following sections to troubleshoot the most common DYMO LabelWriter printer issues. It may also be helpful to view our general printer troubleshooting guide or the DYMO LabelWriter User Guide.

Print Driver

Ensure you have the latest print driver installed for your DYMO LabelWriter printer. Having an old or outdated print driver installed for your printer may cause your printer to not print correctly from Stamps.com.

Offset Printing

Sometimes, the information being printed does not line up properly on the physical label. Follow the DYMO printer guide to make sure the label spool is seated correctly in the printer.

Multiple Labels Used with Each Print

Do the following when your DYMO printer is feeding multiple labels with each print:

  • Follow the DYMO printer guide to re-seat the label spool in the printer.

  • Feed the LabelWriter cleaning card through the printer 2 to 3 times. The cleaning card and its instructions are included with your printer.

Print Quality Problems

Feed the LabelWriter cleaning card through the printer 2 to 3 times when your DYMO LabelWriter is printing blurry or smudged labels. The cleaning card and its instructions are included with your printer.
