File a UPS Claim or Reroute Request

If your UPS from Stamps.com shipment needs to be rerouted, or if you need to submit a claim for damage, loss, or a guaranteed service refund please use this form: UPS from Stamps.com Claim Form and fill in all the required fields.

To avoid any delays in processing your claim, please provide all the required information and include photos of the damaged items (if applicable). If you have already submitted a claim, do not submit duplicate forms for the same claim.

UPS Loss or Damage Claims

All Stamps.com UPS shipments include maximum liability coverage of $100 for all shipments at no additional cost. This is known as UPS Declared Value. You also have the option of declaring a higher item value when creating the label, which will incur an additional charge to cover the amount declared.

Claims Requirements

  • All claims must be submitted within 60 days of the shipment date.

  • Claims can take up to three weeks to be processed.

  • For damage claims, include photos of the damaged packaging and contents.

  • Claims with partially filled forms cannot be processed. If there is an issue with your submitted claims form, you will be notified via email.

UPS Guaranteed Service Refunds

UPS offers a Guaranteed Service Refund for qualified shipments not delivered by the date and time indicated for delivery when you processed the shipment.

To file a Guaranteed Service refund request, go to this UPS from Stamps.com Claim Form and fill in all the required fields. Be sure to select Guaranteed Service Refund from the "I'm looking to" drop-down menu.

UPS Guaranteed Service Refund Eligibility

  • Only certain UPS services qualify for Guaranteed Service Refunds. Please review the list of eligible services on the UPS Service Guarantee page.

  • All requests for a Guaranteed Service Refund must be submitted within 15 days of the delivery date.

  • If you shipped using Next Day Air on a Friday to receive Saturday Delivery, you must have selected the Saturday Delivery option for the order, or the next true business day will be Monday. The shipment will still fall under the Service Guarantee set by UPS.

Package Reroute Requests

If your shipment is still in-transit you can submit a request to have it either rerouted to an alternative destination or returned to sender.

To reroute or redirect an in-transit UPS shipment, go to this UPS from Stamps.com Claim Form and select the option to Reroute my UPS from Stamps.com package. Please be sure to fill in the required information to avoid any delays in processing your request.

Things to Keep in Mind About Reroute Requests

  • Fee to reroute: UPS charges a fee for rerouting shipments, which will be deducted from your Stamps.com balance.

  • No Service Guarantee: This is not a guaranteed service, so it is important to file this request as soon as possible.

  • Not available for Ground Saver: UPS Ground Saver shipments are not eligible for rerouting.

  • UPS cannot intercept a delivered shipment.
