Stamps.com manages all loss or damage claims for shipments created with UPS. Claims must be filed through Stamps.com rather than directly with UPS. You can also request to reroute a package that is already in transit.

Claims will only be accepted within 60 days of the scheduled delivery date.

For damage claims, include photos of the damaged packaging and contents.

Complete all required fields—partially filled forms cannot be processed.
To file a claim for a lost or damaged UPS shipment:

Click Stamps.com UPS CLAIM FORM.

Complete all required fields in the form.

Select Next and continue through the remaining sections.

Review your information, then submit the form.

Once UPS receives and approves all required documents, postage is credited to your Stamps.com account within 10 days.

Reimbursement for lost or damaged goods is issued within 6 weeks.

Claim forms with incomplete or missing information cannot be processed. If additional documentation is required, you’ll receive an email from UPS with the subject line “Request for supporting documentation.” Follow the instructions in the email to submit the requested information and continue processing your claim

If you shipped using Next Day Air on a Friday to receive Saturday Delivery, you must have selected the Saturday Delivery option for the shipment; otherwise, the next true business day will be Monday and will still fall under the Service Guarantee set by UPS.

Scheduling a Pickup? Some carriers charge a fee for scheduled pickups depending on the type and frequency. Be sure to check with your carrier to avoid any unexpected charges.

If you are shipping with Stamps.com Carriers, pickup fees (if any) are deducted from your account balance as a post-shipment adjustment.

If you submitted a claim, do not submit duplicate forms for the same claim.
UPS offers a Guaranteed Service Refund for qualified shipments not delivered by the date and time indicated for delivery when you processed the shipment.
To file a Guaranteed Service refund request, go to this UPS from Stamps.com Claim Form and fill in all the required fields. Be sure to select Guaranteed Service Refund from the "I'm looking to" drop-down menu.

Only certain UPS services qualify for Guaranteed Service Refunds. Please review the list of eligible services on the UPS Service Guarantee page.

All requests for a Guaranteed Service Refund must be submitted within 15 days of the delivery date.
