Before filing a GlobalPost insurance claim, you must first understand the coverage options for your shipment.
GlobalPost includes loss/damage coverage for two international shipping services:

GlobalPost Standard International includes coverage up to $100

GlobalPost Plus International includes coverage up to $200
All approved claims come with a refund of your GlobalPost shipping costs.

All claims must be filed by the shipper

All claims should be submitted within 90 days of the shipment date

Claims for damage can be submitted at any time, while claims for lost packages should not be initiated before 30 days post-shipment
Claims cannot be honored for items confiscated as contraband by customs or if a recipient refuses to pay customs duties.

When completing the form, do not include shipping costs in the "Claim Amount" field, as approved claims will have shipping costs added to the total payment automatically.
The processing time for claims is approximately three weeks. A representative will file your claim and provide an update within 21 days. If there's no response within this period, contact GlobalPost for assistance.
Approved Claims
Once a claim has been approved, we will work with our partner to immediately credit your shipping account (Stamps.com, Endicia, ShipWorks, ShipStation, etc.).
Denied Claims
If you feel your claim was incorrectly denied, please submit a new claim with new or updated information.
Missing Documents
If you submit a partially completed form, we will not be able to process your claim. We will notify you via email. Complete any missing information on your previously submitted claim form and resubmit it, or complete a new claim.
