You can make changes to the payment methods associated with your account from the Payment Methods settings. This article will guide you through adding, editing, and removing payment methods and how to change the payment method used to fund your account.
If you haven’t yet activated your Stamps.com Balance with your preferred payment method, you can do so at any time.
Stamps.com uses Plaid, a trusted third-party service, to securely link your bank account. Plaid supports thousands of U.S. financial institutions, making it quick and easy to connect your account.
System Maintenance and Enhancements for ACH/Pay-by-Bank Service
We are performing system maintenance and enhancements to the ACH/Pay-by-Bank Service. While this work is underway, existing merchants must contact support to have this service enabled for their account. Existing ACH customers can continue using the service without disruption.
ACH will not be available for new setups. We will update as soon as the service is available again.
To add a bank as your preferred payment method:
Online
To add your bank account:

Go to the Profile menu and select Manage Account.

Click Payment Methods from Account Settings.

Click Add.
-
Select Pay by Bank, then click Connect Bank.

Click Continue to connect your bank account with Plaid.

Follow the on-screen instructions to add your bank account.

Click Back to Stamps.com to return to view your connected Payment Methods.
PC Software
To add a credit card as your preferred payment method:
Online

Go to the Profile menu and select Manage Account.

Choose Payment Methods from the Account Settings section.

Click the Add.
The Add Payment Method window will open.

Enter the information for your new payment method, then click Save.
Now that your new payment method has been added, you can assign it to one or more transaction types in Payment Settings.

Select Payment Settings.

Use the drop-down menus to select which Payment Method to use for each purchase type: Account Funds, Service Fees, and Supplies Purchases.
Once your payment methods have been set up, you can quickly add funds to your balance by choosing Buy More from the balance menu. A minimum purchase of $10 is required when adding funds to your account. See our Fund Your Account Balance article for more information about adding funds to your balance.
PC Software

Select Payment Methods.

Click the Add.
The Add Payment Method window will open.

Enter the information for your new payment method, then click Save.
Now that your new payment method has been added, you can assign it to one or more transaction types in Payment Settings.

Use the drop-down menus to select which Payment Method to use for each purchase type: Account Funds, Service Fees, and Supplies Purchases.

You may need to occasionally update the billing address or expiration date for the cards you have on file for your account.
To edit one of your payment methods:

Go to the username drop-down menu and select Manage Account.

Go to Payment Methods in the Account Settings section.

Select the Payment Method you would like to edit.

Click Edit.

Edit the necessary information, then click Save. Please be sure to enter your entire credit card number when making any changes to ensure credit card verification.
