Change or Reset Your Account Passwords

To sign in to a Stamps.com account, you must use your email address or username and password. Stamps.com uses this to keep your account information private and protected. If you encounter a scenario where your password gets compromised or forgotten, you can update it in the app.

Email Sign-In for New Accounts

Starting February 26, 2026, new Stamps.com accounts are created using an email address and password. A username is no longer required during signup.

Existing customers can continue signing in with their current username and password. If your email address is unique in our system, you may also sign in using your email address and password instead.

If you’re unsure which email address is associated with your account, please contact Support.

Some partner integrations may still require a username. To locate your username, go to Manage Account > Profile > Personal Contact Info and select Get Username.

Your password should:

  • Contain between 14 - 64 characters

  • Contain at least one number, one letter, and one special character

Do not include your username or the words password, stamps, or postage.
