Manual orders are orders created within Stamps.com that have not imported from a connected store. You can create a manual order if you haven't connected a store or for one-off shipments made outside of your store.
In Stamps.com, you can add and edit manual orders, as well as change the status of a manual order. This article will guide you through each of those processes.
Subscription Plan Requirement
This feature is not available for all subscription plans. If you would like to use this feature but cannot access it, you will need to upgrade your plan.

To add a manual order:
Online

Click + Add in the Action Control bar. If you have no orders awaiting shipment select the Add Manual Order button, which appears when there are no outgoing orders.
A new Manual Order will appear in the Orders Grid, and the Order Details panel will open.

Enter the Shipping Address, weight, and service for your package.

Click the X icon to close Order Details when you have entered all the needed shipping details. Your order will appear on the Orders page.
PC Software
When creating a manual order, there are three different types of orders you can create:

Domestic
-
International
-
Contacts
You can also email a return label to a recipient. See the callout below for details.
For all three types of orders, follow these steps:

Click the Add Orders menu and select your option.

Follow the process for your Add Orders option:

For Domestic or International orders, enter the delivery name and address, then select your Shipping Options and click Save.

For Contacts, select a recipient and click OK.
Your manually entered order will appear in the Orders Grid.

Click the order on the Orders grid and enter shipping details.
That's it. Your manually added E-Commerce order is now ready to print with your other E-Commerce orders.
Add Order: Email Return Label
Select Return Label from the Add Orders menu, enter your shipping details into the Email Return Label popup, and click Send Email. The emailed label will show on the History page, but not on the Orders grid. If the label is not received, you can resend it from your Print History.
Sometimes, you need to change the status of a manual order. You can do this in the ORDERS tab.
Online

Select the order you want to move the status for.

Click Move and select from the Move dropdown menu the status that you want to move the order to.
The status options are:

Move to Shipped

Move to Canceled
-
Move to On Hold
We have selected Move to On Hold.

Take any actions if needed to change the status, then click Move.
Your selected order will be displayed in the Orders grid when you select On Hold status in the side navigation panel.
